Job Summary
Specialist, QA Batch Release responsible for batch review/approval/release of bulk and finished products for the Canadian market; ensures optimal planning of batch record review and execution of release activities while considering impacts on customers and supply chain; reviews master manufacturing documents and packaging records, initiates deviations when non-conformities are identified, and verifies retention samples related to complaints; requires a science degree and 3-5 years QA experience with Canadian regulations, 2-3 years batch release experience, and GMP; must be fluent in French and English; based in Ontario with 100% remote work; proficiency in SAP and MS Office; occasional biweekly travel to an external logistics warehouse.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in science or equivalent
- 3-5 years of experience in quality assurance with Canadian regulations
- 2-3 years of experience with batch releases
- 2+ years of experience with GMP
- Proficient in MS Office and SAP
- Fluency in French (mandatory) and English for communication
- Ontario-based, ideally GTA
- 100% remote position
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to external logistics warehouse biweekly
