Job Summary
Specialist, Pursuits leads high-stakes proposal processes from intake through submission, crafting client-centered narratives under tight timelines. Roles include analyzing requirements to guide go/no-go decisions, liaising with lawyers and stakeholders to develop customized responses, writing executive summaries, refining multi-contributor content, collaborating with creative teams, and driving proposal workflows with agile project-management practices. The role requires strategic writing, stakeholder management, and the ability to balance deadlines, quality, and brand tone across fast-paced professional services environments.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Writing, Journalism or English
- Post-graduate degree or professional development in business development, marketing or legal services
- 3 - 5 years of proposal writing experience in a fast-paced professional services environment
- Experience within a legal services is preferred
- APMP (Association of Proposal Management Professionals) certification considered an asset
- Outstanding writing and editing skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Proficiency in AI writing tools
- Knowledge of legal services marketing and business development practices
- French written and oral communication is considered an asset
