Job Summary
Specialist, Proposals & Client Services – US remote role focused on coordinating, preparing, and managing proposals, RFIs, and client service functions. Responsible for budgeting tools, vendor and contract details, and ensuring proposal delivery in collaboration with Account Directors and operations/finance teams. Requires strong planning, analytical, writing, and interpersonal skills; experience with RFPs/RFIs and budgets for clinical trials, preferably in a CRO, and a Bachelor's Degree with 2–4 years of related experience. The role also involves mentoring less experienced proposal associates and applying knowledge of NHV and multi-site study designs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences or Business (required)
- Two to four years of experience preparing proposals and budgets for the clinical trial industry; preferably in a CRO environment
- Fully qualified in development of Strategic, Full Service, and Preferred Provider RFPs
- High level knowledge of Early Phase study designs including NHV and patient/multi-site studies
- Ability to create customized budgets and assemble multiple documents/responses
- Strong planning, strategizing, managing, monitoring, scheduling, and critiquing skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and many details
- MS-Office proficiency (Word and Excel)
- Negotiation and conflict resolution skills
- Independent decision-making capability
