Job Summary
Specialist Proofing Technician role with Vergo Pest Management Ltd requires on-site pest-proofing, vegetation control, hygiene treatments and wildlife management across commercial, residential, and government sites in the UK. Primary duties include rodent proofing, avian-proofing installations (wires, spikes, nets), general pest control, weed control, hygiene treatments, hazardous waste handling, and completing contracts to specification while maintaining health and safety standards. Night work is required; training is provided. Candidates must hold a full UK driving licence, live within 30 miles of the advertised area, and work independently with attention to detail. Preferred qualifications include pest control industry certifications (e.g., BPCA/RSPH Level 2) and optional IPAF/PASMA.
