Job Summary
Specialist - Production Control responsible for stand-up of the material flow and inventory infrastructure for a new Blue Origin program. Design receiving and kitting processes, establish WIP tracking, floor stock strategies, and production control rhythms across machining, welding, assembly, and post-processing. Coordinate material flow to meet build requirements from prototype to rate production; manage work orders from master schedule; release orders; monitor material availability; implement stocking strategies; move parts across centers; enter and reconcile material transactions in ERP; monitor MRB disposition and cycle counts; ensure inventory accuracy and timely material delivery to production. Proficiency with MRPs/ERP, BOMs, engineering drawings, and cross-functional collaboration with procurement, receiving, quality, and engineering. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Preferred qualifications include degree in Supply Chain/Industrial Technology/Business, experience standing up new production control processes, aerospace/precision manufacturing exposure, and familiarity with ERP systems and AS9100 quality management.
