Job Summary
Specialist – Procurement in Coimbatore, India. Responsible for fast-paced materials planning, processing purchase orders, and providing materials support to weekly production plans. Works with the Customer Focus Team to ensure material availability, uses shortage reports, manages excess/obsolete inventory, handles work order management, MRB and DR processes, and supports NPI accounts with rapid service to customers. Requires experience in planning cycles (MPS, MRP, Demand Planning, Materials planning) and familiarity with ERP/P2P tools (SAP/BAAN/Oracle) with Kinaxis as an added advantage. Strong communication and collaboration with buying teams to meet customer schedules and operational goals.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum 3 years experience in Planning/Supply Chain
- Experience with ERP/P2P systems (SAP/BAAN/Oracle)
- Kinaxis knowledge an added advantage
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word & PowerPoint
