Specialist Procurement – Engineer ( Offshore Island Project)

Job Summary
Review purchase orders, contracts, and technical specifications for offshore materials and equipment. Develop expediting plans aligned with project schedules and monitor vendor manufacturing, fabrication, testing, and documentation progress. Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and inspection agencies to resolve delays and ensure compliance with delivery dates. Act as the main point of contact for vendors, conducting progress meetings and managing FATs and material releases. Prepare weekly status reports highlighting risks related to delivery schedules, quality, or compliance. Ensure all materials meet offshore standards including API, ASME, and NORSOK while verifying HSE requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 15+ years of experience in Oil and Gas industry
- Strong expertise in all aspects of procurement activities within the Offshore Oil & Gas industry
- Minimum 5+ years of previous experience working in ADNOC Offshore Projects
- 5–10 years of experience in procurement and expediting, preferably in offshore oil & gas or EPC projects
- Strong experience handling long‐lead offshore equipment (valves, piping, rotating equipment, packages, etc.)
- Prior experience in vendor expediting, inspections, and logistics coordination
- Must have worked at least 5 years of experience in similar position for mega oil and gas FEED/ EPC project ( more than US$ 1 Billion)
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering is a MUST
