Job Summary
Lead and drive private sales of jewellery and watches in Asia Pacific, working with international buyers and sellers to facilitate sales. Partner with Global Private Sales leaders to develop and implement strategic goals, oversee exhibition strategy, and link opportunities across Christie’s global network to bring sales to completion. Drive sales both individually and as a facilitator of communication within the international team; manage inventory and opportunities, maintain margins, and cultivate long-term relationships with clients. Meet with clients on-site and off-site; travel to events, exhibitions, and fairs; collaborate to identify opportunities, coordinate pricing meetings, and address process improvements to catalyze growth. Require strong client management, English and Mandarin language skills, financial acumen, and excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 8 years of experience with high value and/or rare Jewels or Watches (preferably in the secondary market) with significant client management experience
- Fluent in English and Mandarin
- Financial acumen with a strategic mindset for growth
- Proactive with an ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from colleagues and clients
- Excellent interpersonal, influencing and communication skills
- Discretion with confidential information
