Job Summary
Specialist, People Operations coordinates onboarding and offboarding, HRIS data administration, benefits support, and employee relations across the employee lifecycle. The role administers HR programs, leads new hire orientation, manages data changes in the HCM system, coordinates payroll-related changes with Payroll, and ensures compliance and accurate records. The position requires collaboration with HR business partners, IT, and other departments to deliver consistent experiences, support process improvements, maintain data accuracy, and handle day-to-day employee inquiries with professionalism. The job is based in Irvine, CA with a hybrid work arrangement, and involves supporting compliance, audits, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining strong cross-functional relationships and delivering high-quality HR services.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or other related discipline or equivalent knowledge and experience
- 3-5+ years of experience in HR supporting HR Operations and/or HR Shared Services
- Knowledge of legal and employment compliance matters as they relate to internal audit and controls, employee-related policies, and procedures
- Demonstrated proficiency with ADP Workforce Now is highly preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in handling employee data, documentation, and transactions
- Excellent project management and time management skills
- Strong customer service focus
- Demonstrated presentation, verbal, and written communication and interpersonal skills
Desired Qualifications
- 3-5+ years of experience in HR supporting HR Operations and/or HR Shared Services
- Knowledge of legal and employment compliance matters as they relate to internal audit and controls, employee-related policies, and procedures
- Demonstrated proficiency with ADP Workforce Now is highly preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling employee data, documentation, and transactions
