Job Summary
Specialist or Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist (Band 6/7 equivalent) required to provide clinical input to individuals with high complexity and lead SLT within Springs Court at Cygnet Hospital Harrow. Role involves delivering evidence-based SLT services within an in-patient setting, training others, promoting inclusive communication, and ensuring high-quality supervision. Fixed 12-month FTC with potential extension; base location Harrow, UK; part-time considered (minimum 3 days). Salary £47,016-£63,991 depending on experience. DBS check required.
Required Qualifications
- Qualified Speech and Language Therapist (SLT) with experience in Autism Spectrum Disorders and/or Mental Health Conditions
- Understanding of Positive Behaviour Support with person-centred planning
- Knowledge of inpatient care legislation and guidance (MHA, MCA, DoLS)
- Strong team player with motivation to help others
- Enthusiasm and passion for the field
