Operations Innovation Specialist to support cross-functional initiatives at Zaxby’s, focusing on identifying, evaluating, and implementing improvements to operational procedures, SOPs, and systems. Responsibilities include researching operational improvements affecting speed, labor, and KPIs; coordinating with internal teams and external vendors; creating SOPs and training materials; evaluating procedural options for efficiency and quality; supporting testing and implementation of updates to the POS system (PAR Brink and QSR), Zaxby’s app, and third-party delivery platforms; conducting on-site restaurant visits, collecting field feedback, and drafting conclusions of research findings; managing alpha/beta testing stores and transferring knowledge to IT and field teams; and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of operational standards and procedures. Education and experience guidelines specify a Bachelor’s degree and 1-3 years managing projects or conducting research, with restaurant industry experience advantageous.
