Job Summary
Execute daily department oversight activities to validate system processes and run reports to resolve exceptions ensuring adherence to regulatory and firm policy requirements. Provide detailed daily oversight, act as a backup for controls, and support escalated issues involving time-sensitive, complex, and highly specialized processes. Liaise with external customers and other business units to research, resolve, or secure requested information while addressing escalated questions independently. Participate in testing and implementation of new systems, update manuals, and perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- 4-year degree from an accredited university (or equivalent)
- High School diploma (or equivalent) AND 3 years for job-related experience
- 2+ years prior securities, banking and/or job specific related experience
- Demonstrated problem identification, analytical and resolution skills
- Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast paced and deadline driven environment with high attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Exceptional interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with all levels of staff and management
- Proficient computer skills in Windows-based software products including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Desired Qualifications
- 4-year degree from an accredited university in business, finance, or related field
- 3+ years business, finance, customer service and/or accounting/bookkeeping experience
- Previous experience in the securities or banking industry
