Job Summary
Specialist, Operational Procurement responsible for securing material availability, closing supplier gaps, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to mitigate supply risks across short- and long-term horizons. You will drive supplier negotiations for additional volumes or production swaps, manage short-term coverage with allocations from the Supply Planning team, and lead discussions on End of Life (EOL) and New Product Introductions (NPI) with key suppliers. Own delivery KPI content and actions within the Supplier Scorecard, support supplier awards, and negotiate agreements (e.g., Frozen Horizon, Consignment) with cross-functional teams and Legal. Lead or participate in supply chain improvement projects, support ramp-down/up during engineering or supply changes, and provide documentation for supplier reviews (QBRs) and program management. Requires strong supply chain expertise, the ability to lead cross-functional task forces, and excellent written and verbal communication in English. Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, and a proactive, goal-oriented approach to decision-making are valued for success in this role.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or master's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- 6+ years of materials and/or supply chain management experience
- ability to work with global stakeholders
- strong English communication skills
