Job Summary
Specialist, Onboarding Compliance responsible for managing personnel files from cradle to grave and ensuring regulatory requirements are met for clinical staff across multiple states. Responsibilities include completing background checks (fingerprinting and state registry checks), ensuring accurate job descriptions and required signatures, coordinating and documenting new employee orientation, health screening/immunizations per state and Joint Commission requirements, verifying credentials, education, and experience, documenting all trainings, administering initial and periodic competency assessments, and conducting periodic performance reviews. The role collaborates with recruiting, onboarding, leadership, regulatory and HR operations to maintain file timeliness and completeness, while upholding strict confidentiality and engaging with external partners as needed. Requires a Bachelor’s Degree and 1 year of HR experience (Healthcare HR experience highly desirable); on-site four days per week at the NYC office with potential hybrid/remote elements; total compensation base range $53,000–$70,000 annually.
