Job Summary
Review the note endorsement chain of promissory notes to determine curative actions per company standards while delivering superior service to internal and external customers. Process notes by reviewing title chains, executing internal allonges, or requesting third-party assistance, then ship originals to PHH firms or vendors as requested. Follow up on pending documents and respond to requests via team mailboxes. Complete special projects and cross-train to assist with additional division functions during peak volumes. Requires one-year mortgage servicing experience, proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, and the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
Required Qualifications
- One-year mortgage servicing or related experience
- Working knowledge of the Promissory Note and other mortgage documents
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Good decision-making skills and ability to research & show initiative in solving problems
- Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple & changing priorities
- Ability to work in and promote a team environment
- PC Experience – Microsoft Word & Excel
- Effective time management to balance day to day tasks against short and long-term project deliverables
- Prior knowledge of residential mortgage servicing, related loan documents and Agency guidelines
- Long periods sitting in front of a computer screen
- Lifting banker's boxes with an average weight of 35 pounds
