Job Summary
Provide direct intensive intervention to students through individual and small group instruction designed to meet individual needs. Assist in designing interventions, monitor responses, and develop strategic plans for student growth while managing intervention caseloads. Mentor school-based problem-solving teams and serve as a liaison to administrators and teachers to implement Response to Intervention and positive behavior supports. Model lessons, co-teach, and develop materials for colleagues to facilitate a systematic school-wide approach to Multi-Tiered Support Systems. Maintain required records and report student achievement data from multi-tier assessments. Requires 5+ years of Texas public school teaching experience, remote work capability with high-speed internet, and knowledge of MTSS, PBIS, and RTI frameworks.
Required Qualifications
- Residency in the state of Texas is required.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
- Proven experience working independently with minimal supervision, including the ability to manage a digital task list and maintain a stable remote (home-office) infrastructure.
- Minimum of 1–2 years of experience using the Google Workspace suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive) in a professional or academic setting.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex ideas via written channels (Email, Google Chat, and Document Comments) with high clarity and low ambiguity.
- Access to a private, secure, high-speed internet connection with a minimum of 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload speeds.
Desired Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience teaching in a Texas public school is preferred
- Experience implementing interventions
- Knowledge of the MTSS framework, positive behavior interventions and supports (PBIS), response to intervention (RTI), social-emotional learning (SEL), restorative practices, trauma-informed practices, and family engagement
