Job Summary
Manage IT solutions procurement and vendor relationships by writing technical specifications for bids, evaluating vendor products, and advising customers on technology selection. Coordinate large-volume purchasing and roadmaps while ensuring compliance with School Board policies and federal/state agency procedures. Submit required documentation, including final evaluations and educator certificates, to validate eligibility for administrative positions. Adhere to the drug-free workplace policy and background screening requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Florida Educator Certificate with School Principal listed under the coverage area
- Copies of your final evaluations as a principal for the last three years with a rating of highly effective or effective
- Proof of completing a principal preparation program
- Valid Florida Educator Certificate with Educational Leadership listed under the coverage area
- Copies of your final evaluations as an assistant principal for the last three years with a rating of highly effective or effective
- Proof of completing an assistant principal preparation program
- Demonstrated large volume purchasing/procurement experience
- Demonstrated experience writing technical specifications for bids (RFPs, ITNs, RFQs)
- Demonstrated experience working with vendors to obtain quotes and roadmaps
- Demonstrated experience evaluating vendors' newly released and soon-to-release products
- Demonstrated experience advising customers on technology selection and purchases
