Job Summary
Lead the design, aid development, and deployment of advanced data integration solutions for Global Medical teams, enabling actionable insights across diverse business capabilities. Architect and design integrated solutions, analytical summarized dimensional data models, and datasets to augment visualization applications and dashboards. Aid the development platform team with backend infrastructure and integrated views using AWS, Databricks notebooks, Python, SQL, and Node.js. Drive API-based integration capabilities to integrate the Global Medical ecosystem while monitoring and enhancing data pipeline performance. Ensure data integrity, quality, and compliance with regulatory standards such as HIPAA and GDPR. Partner with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable visualization solutions and present insights to senior leadership. Train and mentor team members and business users on analytics best practices, establish KPIs, and drive cross-functional collaboration to streamline workflows.
Required Qualifications
- Doctorate degree / Master's degree / Bachelor's degree
- 8 to 13 years of Information Systems experience
- Technical Expertise in architecting visualization solutions and applications such as Tableau, Power BI, or React js equivalent
- Proficiency in integrating data and hands on experience with AWS, SQL, Python, R, or other data analysis programming languages
- Strong understanding of medical data models, including Field Medical, Medinfo, and SciComm frameworks
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong project management skills, with experience leading cross-functional teams
- Must-Have Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical users
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights
- Strong skills in analyzing and modeling large datasets, with expertise in creating aggregate data models and enabling ad-hoc reporting
- SAFe for Teams certification (preferred)
Desired Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in Architecting, data analytics, visualization, or business intelligence, preferably within the pharmaceutical, life sciences, or healthcare industry
- Demonstrated experience in managing global data projects and collaborating with cross-functional teams in a matrixed organization
- Advanced certifications in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau Certified Professional, Microsoft Power BI Certification)
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, and experience in integrating data visualization solutions with cloud-based architectures
- Work experience in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry
- Experience using and adopting Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
