Specialist - Inventory Control

Job Summary
Manage daily inventory control tasks including cycle counts, inbound processing, holding stock health, returns, transfers, adjustments, and handling losses/damages. Enforce FIFO for ongoing and discontinued items, manage expiry and batch in the system, and drive inventory efficiency through optimization ideas. Aim to minimize stockouts and backorders while coordinating with store ops on stock levels, aged merchandise, and improvement plans. Collaborate closely with warehouse ops, store ops, finance, and key account management; analyze and prepare weekly and periodic inventory reports for management review; oversee client inventory moves and quarterly/annual stock counts; promptly respond to emails, tickets, or chat inquiries. Additional duties as assigned by SG Operations Manager.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of working experience in handling inventory
- Experience with ERP/WMS system
- Experience in e-commerce or retail business (added advantage)
- Strong English communication skills
- Ethical, disciplined, and able to work with minimum supervision
