Job Summary
Specialist for Instructional Program Support Generalist focused on improving K-12 ELA instruction for students with disabilities through PD, coaching, and instructional support. Responsibilities include developing and delivering professional development for teachers, observing classrooms, providing coaching on curriculum implementation, using data to inform instruction, leading professional learning communities, recommending instructional materials and strategies, conducting model lessons and feedback, supporting school-based PD, and integrating Universal Design for Learning and assistive technology to enhance reading proficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
- Five (5) years of experience in exceptional student education
- Florida Department of Education certification in at least one area of exceptional student education
- ELA certification and reading endorsement preferred
