Job Summary
Specialist I, Logistics-PM manages fuel orders and delivery to prevent outages and optimize inventory and costs. Responsibilities include planning, scheduling, and executing hundreds of daily fuel loads; analyzing driver staffing, carrier loads, inventories, trucking costs, and fuel pricing to determine lowest-cost actions; assisting drivers via high-volume calls to adapt dispatch plans; monitoring tank levels and market prices to avoid outages and capitalize on arbitrage opportunities; reviewing DOT hours and planning routes; collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with KPIs; requires a school diploma or equivalent and a Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience; strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills; weekly pay and benefits; right to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
Required Qualifications
- School diploma or equivalent certification
- Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, supply chain management, or engineering, or minimum three years' experience in transportation dispatch or optimization
