Job Summary
Specialist I, Biospecimen Operations responsibilities include serving as the primary contact for donors in specialty product collections, screening and qualifying donors, coordinating enrollment and scheduling across sites, managing documentation and data accuracy, and collaborating cross-functionally with Donor Operations, Project Management, and site contacts. Requires understanding of study protocols, SOPs, regulatory requirements, and effective donor communications; emphasizes compassionate donor engagement, data validity, and end-to-end scheduling and logistics for specimen collections.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a life science or related field
- 1-2 years of working experience in a project management/operations coordinator role
- Proficient in general software tools, including Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
- Excellent multitasking, organization, and communication skills
- Experience with donor coordination or HIPAA-regulated environment (preferred)
