Job Summary
Specialist role focused on administration, configuration, and optimization of HR systems, primarily Workday HCM, across a multi-country organization. Serves as subject-matter expert for HR applications, guiding system-related policies, processes, and best practices. Collaborates with HR, Compensation, Learning, Talent Acquisition, Payroll and Operations to align HR systems initiatives with business needs. Leads testing activities for implementations and updates, ensures data integrity through audits and reporting, documents requirements and training materials, and supports change management efforts by communicating system changes to users. Provides multi-country and multi-site end-user support, with a strong emphasis on training, troubleshooting, and knowledge transfer. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, 5+ years in senior advisory roles focused on HR and Workday, and fluency in English and French. Must stay current on Workday capabilities and demonstrate ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive data and foster cross-functional partnerships in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field
- Workday HCM expert with hands-on experience
- 5+ years of senior analyst or advisory HR experience
- Experience with HR systems, data loads (EIBs), reporting in Workday
- Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices and processes
- Excellent business analysis, problem-solving and process-improvement skills
- Ability to translate findings into practical recommendations
- Bilingual fluency in English and French (Canada)
- Ability to handle sensitive data with discretion and maintain confidentiality
- Strong change management capabilities and training/delivery experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Ability to communicate technical and business information to diverse audiences
- Collaborative, cross-functional partnership experience
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
