Job Summary
Handle routine HR inquiries to provide responsive, knowledgeable support to employees and supervisors, explaining policies as appropriate. Maintain the HR information database and position control system to ensure data accuracy, while processing new hire paperwork, criminal history, and references. Receive and process applications, verify file completeness, and notify non-selected candidates. Prepare and distribute job vacancy announcements, manage personnel requisitions, and reconcile vacancies with approved staff allocations. Answer incoming calls, route messages, greet visitors, and assist applicants with paperwork while maintaining confidentiality and following safety protocols.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Must have experience with Skyward SMS
- Proficiency in keyboarding and file maintenance
- Ability to use software to develop spreadsheets, databases, and do word processing
- Ability to read, speak and understand English
- Excellent organizational skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
