Specialist, Ground (Airport Operations Management) (Danang)

Job Summary
Manage daily airport operations at DAD and other stations to achieve a minimum 98% On Time Performance for aircraft dispatches. Lead outsourced vendors and airport authorities to ensure efficient check-in, baggage handling, and adherence to company regulations. Handle flight disruptions and delays while minimizing passenger inconvenience and investigating root causes to prevent recurrence. Maintain effective communication with Head Office departments and execute service level agreements for assigned stations. Conduct regular audits of vendors and ground safety procedures, ensuring compliance with Scoot SOPs and local regulatory updates. Verify invoices for items charged to the airline and represent the corporate image in all external stakeholder matters.
Required Qualifications
- Legally entitled to work in Vietnam
- Minimum recognised diploma / degree
- Minimum of 3-4 years' working experience in managing operations, preferably in airport, airline or ground handling
- Fluent written, spoken and reading capability in English Language and Vietnamese
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- Ability to multi-task under dynamic environment independently, manage multiple stakeholders and tasks effectively and think quickly on the feet
- Able to travel for work at short notice
- Able to work on weekends, public holidays
- Team player with good interpersonal skills and pleasant disposition, open to learning and discipline to function independently with minimal guidance
- Quick to adopt and adapt to changes
- Good negotiation skills and ability to work with people from all levels
Desired Qualifications
- Experience / knowledge in airline contract (SGHA) negotiation and coordination
- Airport systems e.g. CUPPS/CUSS
