Job Summary
Specialist, Fund/Client Accounting II at BNY in Manchester. Responsible for directing and developing staff, reviewing outputs for accuracy and compliance, partnering with supervisors/managers to address issues and drive improvements, attending calls with fund managers and stakeholders, and escalating concerns to senior management. Will ensure clear delegation and support for the team, and develop knowledge of financial products and bank tools, departmental procedures, and current market developments. Requires strong numerical and analytical abilities, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office/Excel (advanced functions preferred); capable of leading, guiding, and motivating a team to meet deadlines in a high-stakes financial services environment.
Required Qualifications
- Financial industry knowledge preferred but not essential.
- Attention to detail; good organizational skills; ability to prioritize to meet stringent demands.
- Effective written and oral communication skills with a proven ability to communicate with stakeholders and team members.
- Excellent numerical skills, with accurate manipulation and analysis of data.
- Experience of using Microsoft Office products, in particular Excel; advanced functions desirable.
