Specialist, Fund/Client Accounting II

Specialist, Fund/Client Accounting II responsible for completing daily/monthly audit cycles for GIA clients with Private Equity investments, validating positions, transactions and NAV between BNY records and Investment Managers. Ensure client SLA deadlines are met, process activity and valuation timely and accurately, own tracking of Capital Call payments, and interact with clients to answer questions on reporting and accounting processes. Attend weekly/monthly service calls, provide regular updates, escalate potential service-level breaches, and support a positive team environment. Collaborate with other operational areas to standardize practices, perform peer reviews and sign off on teammates’ work, and deputize for Senior Specialist when needed. Strong communication, numerical, and Excel skills, with the ability to train and support others. Financial industry knowledge and familiarity with Private Equity or Alternatives assets are preferred.
