Job Summary
Act as the Franchise Licensing & Compliance specialist responsible for managing the lifecycle of franchise license agreements within an assigned territory, including reviewing applications, issuing license documents and related compliance materials, maintaining records in the company database (GOLS), coordinating with Development and Legal teams, conducting due diligence, collecting fees, drafting addenda and special agreements, and serving as the primary liaison for franchisees and applicants. The role involves ensuring regulatory compliance across local, state, and federal requirements, monitoring deadlines, supporting openings, and handling renewal and ownership-change processes with attention to accuracy and stakeholder communication.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Legal Studies or a related field of work, or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience
- 1 to 2 years work-related experience in franchise licensing, compliance, banking administration, contract administration, or similar
- Demonstrated knowledge of PC-based software programs
- Demonstrated effective oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrated strong writing and reading comprehension skills for drafting license agreements and financial letters
- Demonstrated understanding of contractual agreements and ability to administer ongoing contracts
- Demonstrated attention to detail, time management and organizational skills
- Demonstrated ability to interpret state regulations for contract compliance
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality
