Job Summary
Specialist responsible for developing and maintaining an accountable fixed asset inventory system for Special Education District capital and trackable items, including processing purchase orders, labeling and distributing materials from vendors to campuses, maintaining asset records and ledger entries, conducting annual fixed asset audits, coordinating transfers and disposals, and providing support with equipment brought under SHARS and IEP-related personal care as identified in student IEPs. Requires collaboration with vendors, staff, and the warehouse, proficiency with asset tagging systems (e.g., KAMS), strong organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks in a warehouse-like environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Experience in related position
- Proficient in computer applications
- Excellent organization, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle multiple projects, manage deadlines, and work with minimal supervision
- Some prior knowledge of special education preferred
