Job Summary
Finance Automation Specialist at Invesco: Drive FP&A automation and AI-enabled enhancements. Partner with FP&A teams to analyze drivers of expenses, revenues, and assets under management; deliver timely reconciliations and variance analyses; lead training and knowledge transfer; design and implement AI/ML-driven forecasting, anomaly detection, and automated reporting integrated with Power BI, Alteryx, and SQL pipelines; collaborate with technology and data teams to ensure data readiness and evaluate new AI tools. Maintain and improve process documentation and SOPs; manage client queries; contribute to continuous improvement projects with a bias toward automation-first and AI-first approaches. Strong emphasis on GAAP, internal controls, data visualization, and stakeholder management; requires proficiency in SQL, Alteryx, Tableau, Power BI, Python/R, and experience with Generative AI tools. The role is full-time with a flexible, hybrid work arrangement in Hyderabad, India, and a focus on transforming finance operations through automation and AI-enabled insights.
Required Qualifications
- Academic requirements Commerce graduates or MBA in Finance with development experience on technical tools.
- Alteryx designer core certification is must
- Power BI certification is added advantage
- Certification or coursework in Data Science, AI/ML, or Analytics (preferred)
- Exposure to Python, cloud-based analytics platforms is an added advantage
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal control frameworks
- Experience with SQL, Alteryx, Tableau, Power Apps and Power BI for data analysis and visualization
- Experience with Oracle or similar financial systems
- Working knowledge of Machine Learning concepts (regression, classification, clustering)
- Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently
