Job Summary
Deliver trauma-informed case management and crisis support to individuals and families experiencing family violence, prioritizing safety, recovery, and positive outcomes for adults and children. Build strong client relationships that support self-determination while maintaining accurate records, identifying risks, and monitoring progress against key performance indicators. Collaborate with specialist practitioners, housing teams, and external services to advocate for access to holistic services, ensure accommodation guidelines are met, and provide advice and referrals for those in refuge or transitional accommodation.
Required Qualifications
- A Tertiary qualification in Social Work or a related field
- Qualifications must align with the Mandatory Minimum Qualification Requirements for Specialist Family Violence Workers (Recommendation 209)
- Demonstrated case management experience and skills
- Experience in the family violence sector including specialist family violence or child wellbeing work
- A current full VIC drivers' licence
- Employee Working with Children Check
- A mandatory Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in the family violence sector including specialist family violence or child wellbeing work is highly desirable
