Job Summary
Conduct regular cleaning duties including vacuuming climbing mats, mopping concrete floors, dusting required areas, and sanitizing fitness equipment to maintain a clean, safe, and presentable facility. Perform basic maintenance tasks, execute opening and closing procedures, and conduct safety walkthroughs to ensure facility grounds and building remain organized. Actively respond to customer needs by providing assistance with climbing, orientation, and facility offerings while administering first aid and documenting incidents per protocol. Requires availability for early morning, evening, weekend, and overnight shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Reliable, self-directed, and able to work with minimal supervision
- Comfortable and able to work early morning, evening, or weekend shifts, Sometimes overnights.
- Knowledge of or willingness to learn cleaning chemical safety and proper handling
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to stand, walk, and move continuously for extended periods
- Frequent bending, kneeling, stooping, and reaching
- Ability to push and pull wheeled equipment (mops, carts, vacuums)
- Ability to climb ladders and step stools
Desired Qualifications
- Prior janitorial, custodial, or facilities maintenance experience
- Familiarity with commercial cleaning equipment and techniques
- Experience with floor care equipment (auto scrubbers, burnishers, extractors)
- SDS/chemical safety awareness
