Job Summary
Specialist, FA responsible for book-keeping and accounting entries, timely preparation of accounts (weekly, month-end, financial year end closing), and aging listings. Works independently on accounting and management reports to meet deadlines with minimal supervision; prepares accounting reports and deliverables within set timelines; conducts monthly balance sheet reconciliations, investigates reconciling items, and meets Business Unit/client requirements. Manages manual journal entries at month end with complete documentation; performs monthly income tax calculation if required; handles ad hoc activities. Based in Kuala Lumpur with regional coverage. Requires fresh graduate or 1 year accounting/finance experience; diploma/degree or pursuing professional studies; ACCA/MIA/CPA or equivalent advantageous.
Required Qualifications
- Fresh graduate or with 1 years relevant working experience in accounting, finance or relevant field of work.
- Experience working in client service or SSC environment will be an added advantage.
- Diploma/Degree or in the midst of pursuing professional studies in accounting/financial or its equivalent.
- ACCA, MIA, CPA or equivalent will be added advantage.
