Specialist, Environmental Compliance

Environmental Compliance Specialist ensures compliance with local, state, and federal environmental regulations in support of Company operations, maintenance, and construction activities. The specialist provides technical guidance and leadership to various company departments concerning compliance with environmental regulations and offers coaching and support to other environmental staff members in achieving land and environmental department goals. Responsibilities also include preparing and submitting documents to obtain federal or state authorization or to demonstrate regulatory compliance, monitoring regulatory initiatives and potential impacts, and liaising with regulatory agencies to support company functions. The role requires strong written and verbal communication, analytical and problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple environmental projects, often traveling 35% and working across field locations.
