Job Summary
Act as the primary point of contact for technical inquiries and support related to Volvo construction equipment. Provide specialized technical knowledge and guidance to ensure optimal machine performance and safety compliance. Conduct detailed diagnostics and troubleshooting of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems. Prepare and deliver training and presentations to internal staff and customers on technical updates, systems, and best practices. Assist in developing and implementing new processes/tools to enhance service efficiency. Monitor equipment performance and provide feedback/recommendations. Collaborate across departments to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction. Stay current with product developments and industry standards.
Required Qualifications
- A formal engineering qualification in a relevant field (e.g., mechanical, electrical, or automotive engineering).
- Extensive experience in servicing and repairing heavy construction equipment, particularly Volvo products.
- Strong diagnostic skills and a thorough understanding of hydraulic and electrical systems.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with customers and teams, both verbally and in writing.
- Solid problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Full UK driving license is required.
