Job Summary
Recruiting veterinary nurses for Greencross AREN Specialist and Emergency hospitals across Australia. Responsibilities include restraining animals for examination and treatment, cleaning and sterilising examination tables and equipment, preparing instruments for veterinarians, assisting with anaesthetics and oxygen during operations, placing animals in cages for recovery and monitoring their condition, administering medications, maintaining stock control/records, providing animal care education, may perform diagnostic laboratory tests, and may act as receptionist/ undertake clerical work. Benefits include full-time employment with salary packages from $79,499 per annum, sponsorship for international nurses with a minimum of 2 years full-time post-qualification experience, four weeks annual leave and paid maternity leave, continuing education programs, and mental health support resources.
