Specialist Electrical Engineer – Offshore Water Injection Project

Job Summary
Develop and review electrical design deliverables for offshore water injection facilities, including load flow, short circuit, and protection coordination studies. Design medium-voltage and low-voltage power distribution systems and support the integration of water injection pumps and rotating equipment. Ensure all equipment complies with IEC, IEEE, API, and hazardous area standards while participating in vendor evaluations and technical bid analysis. Provide engineering support during fabrication, installation, and commissioning, including FAT, SAT, and system acceptance testing. Coordinate interfaces with mechanical, instrumentation, and project teams to manage design reviews and technical workshops.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
- 15+ years of electrical engineering experience within Oil & Gas, Offshore, EPC, or Energy projects
- Minimum 5 years in a Specialist or Senior Electrical Engineering role
- Proven experience on offshore platforms, water injection projects, FPSOs, offshore processing facilities, or subsea developments
- Strong experience with FEED, Detailed Engineering, EPC, and commissioning phases

- IEC, IEEE, API, NFPA Standards
- Must be able to relocate to Spain Office and then return to Abu Dhabi
