Job Summary
Specialist Data Analytics with 8-12 years of experience, responsible for designing, building, maintaining, analyzing, and interpreting data to provide actionable insights. The role involves creating data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes, ensuring data quality, implementing data governance and security measures, and leveraging cloud platforms (AWS) to develop scalable data solutions. The candidate collaborates with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into data models and analytic solutions, develops data models and dictionaries, visualizes data for stakeholders, and designs ML/AI pipelines and other advanced analytics solutions (including LLMs). The role requires leadership in delivering data/ML projects, coordinating timelines and risks, and providing technical guidance to teammates. Shift information indicates later/evening or night shifts as required. The position emphasizes hands-on work with big data tech (Databricks, Spark), Python/R, SQL, data visualization (Tableau), data governance, privacy compliance, data security, and collaboration across product teams and sites.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field OR Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Statistics or similar field OR equivalent combination of education and experience
- 8 - 12 years of experience in data analytics or related field
- Hands-on experience with big data technologies (Databricks, Apache Spark PySpark/SparkSQL)
- Proficiency with Python/R for EDA, feature engineering, and model training
- Experience with SQL and data visualization tools (Tableau)
- Knowledge of data governance frameworks, GDPR/CCPA compliance
- Experience with ETL/ELT processes and data integration
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work in globally dispersed teams
- Shift flexibility (evening/night) per business needs
- Certified Data Analyst/Science/Machine Learning certifications (preferred)
