Job Summary
Provide expert cyber security advisory across complex ICT and operational technology environments to embed secure-by-design practices in decision-making, technology delivery, and operational practices. Act as a trusted advisor aligning cyber security with business goals, assessing and managing risks across projects, reviewing vendor contracts, and collaborating with architecture, engineering, operations, and project teams to embed security into roadmaps and delivery. Ensure alignment with the NSW Government Cyber Security Policy and support safe, reliable transport services for the people of NSW. Hybrid work arrangement in Macquarie Park, Sydney.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in cyber security advisory, risk assessment, or security architecture within complex ICT or operational technology environments
- Strong working knowledge of ISO 27001, NIST CSF, and Essential Eight
- Proven ability to deliver practical, risk-based cyber advice that aligns security with business goals and delivery outcomes
- Confidence engaging and influencing stakeholders at all levels, providing trusted guidance beyond technical or compliance silos
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex cyber risks into clear, actionable insights
