Job Summary
Oversee all aspects of custodial and facility maintenance equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation across assigned locations. Coordinate preventive maintenance programs, equipment repairs, deliveries, and transfers while serving as the primary liaison with vendors and internal support teams. Provide onsite technical support, assist with equipment troubleshooting and repairs, and train custodial staff on basic equipment operation and minor repairs. Operate a District vehicle to transport equipment, parts, and materials between locations and vendor facilities. Manage equipment records, work orders, and maintenance history using District asset management systems. Identify safety hazards, ensure compliance with safety standards, and analyze maintenance data to improve operational efficiency. Assist custodial operations during snow and ice clearing. Evaluate repair estimates and invoices, recommend equipment replacements, and provide technical guidance on equipment selection and lifecycle planning.
Required Qualifications
