Job Summary
Analyze and monitor manufacturing costs, including direct labor, overhead, and material consumption to evaluate cost performance and identify profitability improvements. Develop cost models, profitability analyses, and business case evaluations for new business opportunities and customer quotations while collaborating with cross-functional teams to validate assumptions. Update financial projections, track variances, and investigate root causes to recommend corrective actions that enhance operational efficiency. Monitor key metrics such as gross margin, EBIT, and labor productivity to support strategic decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives. Partner with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to drive cost reduction and ensure alignment with global project management processes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering or closely related field
- Broad and solid understanding of business principles with strong exposure to manufacturing operations, cost drivers, and plant performance
- Proficiency in SAP, Microsoft Office Suite
- Travel requirements: Local, regional, national, and international
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Automotive or Manufacturing industry, preferably in a global environment
- Exposure to plant operations, production planning, or industrial engineering concepts, with ability to connect financial results to manufacturing performance
- Spanish preferred
