Job Summary
Specialist Cobb HR Operations at Bear Hollow Farms focusing on end-to-end HR processes for hourly and professional staff, including payroll, benefits, leave, investigations, onboarding, compliance with employment authorization, EEO/AA, and onboarding orientation. Responsible for auditing requisitions, maintaining I-9s, disciplinary actions and terminations, learning and development initiatives (compliance, retraining, biosecurity/animal welfare training), and supporting recruiting and good-faith hiring efforts. Key duties include processing HR transactions, administering compensation, disputes and investigations, communications regarding benefits and policy changes, and facilitating background checks and eligibility verifications. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field (preferred) and 2+ years HR experience (preferred); Workday experience is a plus; strong communication skills and ability to handle confidential information; bilingual ability is a plus. The role is based at Bear Hollow Farms in Pineville, MO, with 1st shift responsibilities and no relocation eligibility noted.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
- Equivalent work experience to be considered in lieu of higher education
- 2+ years relevant HR experience preferred
- Workday experience is a plus
- Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint proficiency
- Bi-lingual is a plus
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to interact with individuals at all levels of the organization
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Attention to detail in composing, typing, proofreading, and analyzing materials
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to perform background checks and investigations as needed
- Knowledge of compliance with EEO and AA guidelines
