Job Summary
Specialist, CMS Services in the Matter Lifecycle department, responsible for managing special rate implementation, user provisioning for Aderant, data entry and ensuring the quality of imports/exports. Collaborates with billing, IT, and Finance to maintain data integrity, conducts regular audits, oversees data import/export, provides end-user support and training on Aderant, and works with application vendors on issues and enhancements. Requires post-secondary education (preferred), 3-5 years of office experience, familiarity with Aderant or similar software, strong attention to detail, organizational skills, MS Office proficiency, knowledge of legal billing processes and special rate implementations, analytical/problem-solving abilities, and effective cross-team communication.
Required Qualifications
- Post-secondary education preferred
- 3-5 years of office experience
- Experience with Aderant or other legal practice management software is highly desirable
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work meticulously with data entry and verification tasks
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficient in using MS Office Suite and data manipulation tools
- Knowledge of legal billing processes and familiarity with special rate implementations is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to collaborate across teams
- Ability to train end-users on data entry procedures and usage of Aderant
- Experience coordinating with IT and stakeholders to resolve data-related issues
