Job Summary
Carry out specialist cleaning, servicing, and repairs across tanks, bilges, compartments, and ventilation systems using high-pressure jet washers and vacuum tankers. Maintain strict compliance with Health & Safety, Waste Management, and environmental regulations while working in confined spaces with correct PPE. Complete all paperwork accurately and support other trade groups, including fire sentry duties, when required. Represent the company on customer sites upholding the highest standards of cleanliness and conduct.
Required Qualifications
- Experience starting up and shutting down vacuum tankers and hot pressure washers
- Knowledge of pumping liquid/waste between ship and shore
- Solid understanding of Confined Space working
- Ability to follow MAR pack procedures for specialist cleaning
- Understanding of cleaning standards: Survey, Hot Work, and Preservation
- A proactive attitude toward safety—for yourself and your team
