Specialist Civil Structural Engineer – Offshore Water Injection Project

Job Summary
Lead civil and structural engineering activities for an Offshore Water Injection Project across FEED, detailed engineering, and construction phases. Perform structural analysis and design for offshore platforms, topsides, jackets, and water injection modules, ensuring compliance with API, AISC, ISO, and DNV standards. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to conduct design reviews, HAZID, and constructability assessments while supporting fabrication, installation, and commissioning activities. Manage structural integrity assessments, fitness-for-service evaluations, and corrosion mitigation programs throughout the project lifecycle.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering
- 15-18+ years of experience in civil/structural engineering
- Significant experience in offshore oil & gas, water injection, brownfield modifications, or offshore platform projects
- Experience with FEED, EPC, and offshore construction phases
- Proven experience working on offshore assets in the Middle East
- Structural analysis software: SACS STAAD.Pro SESAM GTSTRUDL SAP2000
- Knowledge of: API RP 2A DNV offshore standards AISC steel design codes ISO offshore structural requirements
- Familiarity with offshore installation, loadout, transportation, and lifting analyses
- Must be able to relocate to Spain Office and then return to Abu Dhabi
Desired Qualifications
- Master's Degree is advantageous
- Professional Engineer (PE), Chartered Engineer (CEng), or equivalent certification preferred
- Proven experience working on offshore assets in the Middle East is highly desirable
