Source, negotiate, and secure carriers to move available freight in a timely and cost-effective manner. Cultivate strong core carrier relationships while maintaining continuous communication with carriers and customers to ensure high-quality freight movement. Schedule pickup and delivery appointments, considering factors such as weather, traffic, and service rules. Follow established procedures for HVS and HRC loads to ensure shipment integrity, and accurately maintain information in operating systems. Conduct research in available databases for potential leads and make cold calls to prospects. Track back-end billing and invoicing to ensure carrier charges are accurate. This role offers competitive pay at $21.64 per hour with eligibility for bonus or commission.
