Job Summary
In this role, you will develop the electrophysiology service, ensuring high-quality patient care for those undergoing electrophysiology studies and ablations. You will collaborate with electromiography cardiologists and a multidisciplinary team, assisting in the diagnosis and treatment of simple and complex cardiac arrhythmias. Your responsibilities will include performing electrophysiological studies, ablation procedures, and operating various cardiac systems, such as 3D mapping and cryo ablation. Required qualifications include a relevant BSc degree, certifications in Electrophysiology and CRM, and proof of ongoing professional development.
Required Qualifications
- BSc (Hons) in Clinical Cardiac Physiology or BSc in Healthcare Science (Cardiac Physiology) or PTP equivalence
- At least one certification for Electrophysiology and CRM
- Evidence of maintaining relevant Continuing Professional Development
- ILS - Immediate Life Support Course
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in day-to-day supervision of staff
- Ability to lead and take part in audit or research projects
- Evidence of highly developed written and oral communication skills in English in a variety of settings
