Job Summary
Specialist, Business Development to onboard new vendors to the foodpanda platform, leading strategic sales plans and engaging in in-person and virtual meetings. Build and manage a robust sales pipeline, negotiate and close deals with partners across F&B, FMCG, and retail, ensure smooth handover to Vendor Onboarding, and collaborate with Marketing, Operations, and Account Management to deliver exceptional partner experiences. Based in Penang, Malaysia, reporting to the Shops Commercial Lead; 2-3 years in B2B sales/partnerships required with strong negotiation and analytical skills; Salesforce experience is a plus; multilingual or cross-functional collaboration skills are beneficial.
Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years of experience in B2B sales, business development, or partnership roles—preferably within F&B, retail, or FMCG industries.
- Proven track record of closing deals and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
- Self-starter mindset with ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and analytical skills.
- Experience using Salesforce or other CRM tools is a plus.
- Bonus: Experience in selling tech or software solutions to businesses.
