Job Summary
Identify and acquire new grocery and retail vendors to join foodpanda Shops platform. Maximize lead lists and close deals through cold calling, field visits, virtual presentations, and other direct acquisition methods. Effectively present the value proposition and commission packages of foodpanda Shops to potential partners. Work closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., onboarding, catalog, operations) to ensure seamless vendor incubation and activation. Act as the local expert in your area—monitor competitor activities, gather vendor feedback, and share insights and recommendations to maintain and grow market share. Location: Cebu area; hybrid remote arrangement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Mass Communication, or any related field preferred
- 2+ years of Sales or Business Development experience—especially with retail, FMCG, or grocery accounts—will be prioritized
- Strong communication skills; must be comfortable conversing in English, Filipino, and the local dialect in the assigned area
- Willing and able to do extensive fieldwork to meet vendors in person
- Goal-oriented and highly motivated to hit individual and team acquisition targets
- A self-starter and team player with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment
