Job Summary
Gather user requirements from external and internal clients via documentation and interviews, then translate business objectives into well-formed backlog items. Build functional design documents with technical staff and create test plans with QA to ensure project quality. Participate in project estimation, support user acceptance testing, and validate completed work against acceptance criteria and security checks. Report project status to stakeholders and analyze defects to drive backlog improvements. This role partners with Product Managers and QA teams to transform and scale the solution suite within the Alternative Investments business.
Required Qualifications
- 6-8 years of professional experience in a Business Analysis role
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Finance, Business, or a related field
- Experience in writing client facing documents such as scope documents, functional documents, use cases as well as Acceptance criteria
- Able to understand and communicate simple to somewhat involved technical concepts
- Excellent analytical problem solving, organization, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Able to work autonomously and in teams, excited by new technologies and industry initiatives, and will never back down from the challenges of scale
- Experience building successful client and internal team relationships
